Chicks, Fencing, and a Car

This last weekend was a busy, and as expected in our house, an interesting one.

Mason loving on one of his chicks. After finding out chickens are common inside city
limits I decided I wanted a few to save on the grocery (and fertilizer) bills.

Playing with the little peeps much like their aunts and uncles used to.

Since Corey drives a big V-8 truck his long commute to NOLA has been killing us. We have been looking for something more gas efficient. Naturally I wanted another Toyota, he didn't really, so Teddy is our little compromise. I am happy with Corey's pick (plus I talked the guy down a couple hundred).

Ebin lost another tooth!

Our backyard sans fence...we're going on 2 weeks and I just found out today we need a permit to put the fence back up...IN THE SAME PLACE. UGH! Now I have more errands tomorrow.

A Day in the Sun

Logan came to hang out today, after some creative thinking I figured out how to let both boys use the high chair tray at one time!
This actually worked out well since Mason loves blueberries and Logan loves Cheerios. Yum! It is so great that both boys get along so well.

Then the boys (and a dog) went for a swim in the front yard. Yay for water time! It was just in time to as it started raining right after Mason went down for a nap and Logan went home. Happy, fun, relaxing, exploring day!
